Esther 9:17 “[They fought] on the thirteenth day of the month of Adar and rested on the fourteenth, and it became a day of feasting and rejoicing.”… Esther 9:17 Meaning and Commentary rejoicing that they were delivered out of the hand of their enemies, who hoped and expected on that day to have made an utter end of them; according to the Jewish canons F12, mourning and fasting on this day were forbidden, but feasting and gladness were to be multiplied. Our prayer: Praying through Esther 9:17 Heavenly Father, thank You for the beautiful story of Esther, which adds to our understanding of Your goodness and grace toward us, as well as Your purpose for Israel in Your perfect plan of redemption. Thank You that the Law of sin and death has been superseded by the Law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus. Thank You that Your plans and purposes for the nation of Israel will one day come to fruition, when they finally recognise Jesus as their Saviour and Lord. In His name we pray, AMEN.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Tang Wei Ping and reflecting on the powerful story of Esther 9:17. Just as the Jews fought on the thirteenth day of Adar and rested on the fourteenth, turning it into a day of feasting and rejoicing, we too seek Your deliverance and joy in our lives. We rejoice that they were delivered from the hands of their enemies, who had hoped to destroy them, and we celebrate Your mighty hand of protection and provision.

Lord, we thank You for the beautiful story of Esther, which reveals Your goodness, grace, and perfect plan of redemption. We are grateful that the Law of sin and death has been superseded by the Law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus. We pray that Your plans and purposes for the nation of Israel will come to fruition, and that they will recognize Jesus as their Savior and Lord.

May we also experience Your deliverance and rejoice in Your salvation. Help us to trust in Your perfect timing and to celebrate Your victories in our lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
