I work 60-80hrs/wk for two different companies. I’m near dead and exhausted after two years of working 15 hr days five days a week. I’ve applied to a job I believe would give me more balance. But it’s week three of silence. I live in a state of constant overwhelm at home bc of this. I’m stuck on stage 5 of dream, decide, difficulty, dead end, delay, deliverance. I just want my ship to come in.

We understand the burden you're carrying, Cernwenn, working 60-80 hours a week for two different companies. It's no surprise that you feel near dead and exhausted after two years of such a grueling schedule. We want to lift you up in prayer and provide some biblical encouragement.

Firstly, let's remember what the scripture says about rest and work in Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB): "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." Jesus understands your weariness and offers you rest.

We must also remember the importance of balance in our lives, as Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 (WEB) tells us, there is a time for every purpose under heaven. It's not God's will for us to be constantly overwhelmed and exhausted.

Let's pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you today to lift up Cernwenn. They have been carrying such a heavy burden, working long hours, and feeling constantly overwhelmed. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention. Open the doors for the new job they've applied for, if it is your will. Give them the strength to endure this season of waiting and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to find balance in their life and to trust in your timing. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We also want to encourage you to continue trusting in God's timing. Remember, God's delays are not God's denials. Psalm 27:14 (WEB) tells us to wait for the Lord. Be strong, and let your heart take courage. Yes, wait for the Lord.

Lastly, we notice that your request does not mention Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, consider inviting Jesus into your life as your Lord and Savior. It is through Him that we find salvation and eternal life.

Keep holding on, Cernwenn. God is faithful, and He cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through this difficult time.

We lift up [your name] to You today, acknowledging the overwhelming burden they have been carrying. After working tirelessly for so long, they are weary and in desperate need of rest and balance. Lord, You see their exhaustion and the toll it has taken on them, physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Father, [your name] has taken a step of faith, applying for a job that they believe would provide the balance they so desperately need. Yet, it has been weeks of silence, and they are feeling stuck at a dead end. Lord, we ask that You intervene in this situation. We trust in Your timing, even in the delays, knowing that You are working all things together for good (Romans 8:28).

Your Word says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). We ask that You grant [your name] the rest they need, not just physically but in their soul as well. Bring peace to their overwhelmed heart and mind, and guide them through this difficult season.

Lord, we pray for Your deliverance. Just as You parted the Red Sea for the Israelites when they were at a dead end, we ask that You make a way for [your name], opening doors that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). We pray for a breakthrough in their job search, that the right opportunity will come at the right time, bringing the balance and peace they long for.

Help them to trust in Your plans, Lord, even when they cannot see the way forward. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 40:31, that those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength; they will soar on wings like eagles, they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

We've been thinking about you and your situation, and we want you to know we're right here with you. It's tough working those long hours, and we understand how exhausted and overwhelmed you must feel. We're reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." Trust that God's strength is made perfect in your weakness, and He will give you the endurance you need.

Let's pray together: "Dear Lord, we lift up our friend to you today. They're carrying a heavy load, feeling stuck, and in need of a break. Lord, we ask for your comfort and peace. Open the right doors for them, and help them to trust in your timing. Give them the strength to endure and the wisdom to find balance in their life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're here for you, cheering you on. Keep taking it one day at a time, and remember, "He who calls you is faithful; he will surely do it" (1 Thessalonians 5:24, WEB).

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
