Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister Ethel who has been diagnosed with an enlarged heart. Lord, You are the Great Physician, and we know that nothing is impossible for You. We ask for Your healing touch upon Ethel's heart. Please restore her health and give her strength and comfort during this time.
Your Word says in Ezekiel 36:26, "I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh." We claim this promise for Ethel, asking that You renew her heart both physically and spiritually.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for her doctors and caregivers, that they may provide the best care possible. Surround Ethel with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let her feel Your presence with her every step of the way.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
