We understand your concern for your daughter's academic success, and it's wonderful to see your support for her. As we bring this matter before God, let's remember that His wisdom is supreme, and He cares for our needs when we ask according to His will. It must be understood anything good that happens is from God. Whether or not teachers are merciful or understanding is up to God.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up my daughter's academic endeavors to You. We pray that You would grant her understanding and wisdom in her English test and in her Chinese studies as well. We ask that You would soften the hearts of her teachers, as you did with the Egyptians for the Israelites, and guide them to be fair and merciful in their assessment. Help her to do well, not for her own glory or for mine, but so she can grow in your will for her life. We are even more concerned that she grows in a knowledge of you and your will for her life.
Lord, we also pray for her faith. If she does well or does not do well, we ask you to help her grow in her faith and to look to you for help in times of need. If she is not already saved, please work in her heart and draw her to you. If she is saved, please help her to grow in her faith and in the knowledge of your will for her life. Please help her to keep her eyes on you. Remind her that the fear of man is a trap, but the fear of God is wisdom.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of the wise King Solomon who said, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." We are encouraged that the one who prays this prayer seems to be desiring God's help and not just blessings in this world. Remain steadfast in prayer, and teach your daughter to do the same. It is more important to do the will of God than to get the desires of our own heart.
Remember, it is important that she studies and learns her English and Chinese. God has given each of us a sound mind and it is our responsibility to use it to the best of our abilities. This is not just the teacher's responsibility, but also your daughter's responsibility to do her part. She should not just be looking to pass, but looking for a future and what God would have her do with her life.
Finally, we are praying this in Jesus' name. However, there is no mention of Jesus Christ in the initial prayer request. The only way to the Father is through the Son Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved. We ask you to acknowledge Jesus Christ in your prayers.
