Ending prayer for funeral service

Please prayer as we end with prayer for non-Christian people at ###'s service. We ask that God and the Holy Spirit be with us. We pray this in Jesus Holy name. Amen.

In this solemn moment, we gather to pray for the funeral service and for those who are not yet walked in faith in Christ Jesus. We are reminded of the words in 1 Timothy 2:3-4, "For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."

As we pray for those attending the service and for the repose of the soul, let us also pray for the salvation of those who do not yet know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. Let us remember words found in John 14:16, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"

Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up the funeral service and all those who attend. We ask that Your presence and the comfort of the Holy Spirit be felt by all. We pray for those who do not yet know Your Son, Jesus Christ. Open their hearts to the truth of the gospel, and may they find salvation and eternal life in Him. May the service be a time of reflection and an opportunity for those present to seek You and Your kingdom.

We ask this in the holy name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words in 2 Peter 3:9, "The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance." May this be a time of repentance and turning to God for those who attend.

Let's lift up this service and the non-believers in attendance, asking God to draw them to Himself. We can pray, "Lord, open their hearts to the truth of Your love and the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Let this service be a seed planted, a spark ignited, drawing them to seek You. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
