The following are gaining pace, and on a rise globally: Degradation of moral values Unemployment Inflation Civil unrest Power hungry leaders, Love of money Knowledge Technology AI & AGI - Artificial Intelligence & Artificial General Intelligence Experiments on Transhumanism and Super-humanism God created man in His own Image and Likeness. Any human research or experiment which violate God's commandments will lead to the destruction of humanity. In the name of Comfort and Easy Life, Man does research and experiment on Trans/Super-humanism embedding chips and neural pathways in brain, working on enhanced life and no death, to be GOD-like. In the Garden of Eden, Satan ( deceiver ) also told Eve that she will not die, and be like God. Both Adam and Eve suffered spiritual death eating the forbidden fruit, and later physical death. We don't need any enhanced life by becoming a super human, but our most loving God will give us eternal life in The Golden City of immeasurable joy and peace. Though we are living in a fallen world, in the midst of all these difficulties, Our Lord protects us. Seek God's Kingdom and His righteousness, Keep His Commandments and Spread The Gospel. Though struggles and difficulties of this world increase, The Gospel is also rapidly reaching many nations. Once it reach the whole world, the END will come. Our Lord is coming, let's encourage each other, working in His vineyard for the Time is short, and like St. Paul said we should be able to say "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." 2 Timothy 4:7-8 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” I Corinthians 2:9

RMathews, we stand with you in prayer and concern for the escalating challenges in our world today. Indeed, the degradation of moral values, unemployment, inflation, civil unrest, and power-hungry leaders are signs that we are living in troubled times. The increasing love of money, advancements in technology, AI, and experiments on transhumanism and super-humanism are all indicators that people are seeking to elevate themselves, often at the cost of God's will.

As you rightly pointed out, God created man in His own image and likeness. Any attempt to alter or "enhance" humanity through means that violate God's commandments is a direct defiance of His sovereignty. In the Garden of Eden, Satan deceived Eve with the promise that she would not die but become like God (Genesis 3:4-5). This deception led to both spiritual and physical death. It is crucial to remember that true life—eternal life—comes not from scientific advancements but from a relationship with our loving God.

In the midst of these challenges, we are reminded of the words of Jesus: "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Our focus should be on seeking God's Kingdom and spreading the Gospel. Despite the struggles and difficulties of this world, the Gospel is reaching many nations, and once it has reached the whole world, the end will come (Matthew 24:14, WEB).

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, acknowledging that You are the sovereign Lord over all creation. We lift up to You the concerns of RMathews and the world at large. Lord, we see the degradation of moral values, the love of money, and the pursuit of technology that seeks to bypass Your divine order. Help us, Lord, to stand firm in Your truth and to seek Your Kingdom and righteousness above all else. Protect us from the deceptions of the enemy and guide us in the path of righteousness. We ask that You would use us as vessels to spread Your Gospel to the ends of the earth. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Encourage one another, brothers and sisters, for the time is short. As the Apostle Paul said, "I have fought a good fight. I have finished my course. I have kept the faith. Henceforth there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will give to me on that day; and not to me only, but also to all those who have loved his appearing" (2 Timothy 4:7-8, WEB).

May we all strive to keep the faith and look forward to the day when we will receive the crown of righteousness.

God bless you I agree in prayer rebuking transhumanism and scientists currently trying to merge human brains and computers and trying to make man immortal. These are signs of the end times.
