Thank you, Cerethar, for bringing this matter to us in prayer. We are instructed in Philippians 4:6, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." It is encouraging to see your faith in action, believing that the postal strike will end soon.
We must remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is so important to pray in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12).
Let us pray together:
"Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace and mercy. We lift up the situation with the postal strike in Canada to You, Lord. We ask that You would intervene and bring a swift end to this strike. We pray that the negotiations would proceed smoothly and that both sides would come to a peaceful and fair agreement.
Lord, we ask that You would grant the mediator abundant wisdom, grace, and help to deal with this situation effectively. We also pray for the workers, that You would give them supernatural strength and efficiency to get through the backlog of parcels in the facility. We ask that the new proposal would be accepted and that this situation would be resolved quickly for the benefit of all involved.
We pray this all in the name of Your beloved Son, Jesus Christ. We acknowledge that You are our only source of help and that it is only in Your Son's name that we have access to Your throne. It is in His name that we are saved. Help us to always come to You in Jesus' name, and help Cerethar to know that he is also saved, believing in Jesus Christ. Thank You again, Lord, for Your loving-kindness, Your goodness, and Your mercies. Thank You, Jesus, for being our Savior. Amen."
Cerethar, continue to trust in the Lord, knowing that He hears your prayers. We encourage you to keep praying and believing, for James 5:16 tells us, "The effective prayer of a righteous man can accomplish much."
Remember to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can come to the Father and it is the only name by which we can be saved. Moreover, God desires that all men be saved from eternal death and punishment from their sins. It is, therefore, our job to spread the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ - for all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23). The benefit and the free gift of believing in Jesus Christ is eternal life.
