We understand that you're facing a challenging situation with your neighbors, and we're here to pray and offer guidance with you. Firstly, we encourage you to bring your petition to God in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." And In Acts 4:12 says "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved".
Let's pray together:
Father, we approach Your throne of Mercy together and are grateful for the access through Christ. Thank You for Your Love!.
Heavenly Father, we lift up Cynan to You, asking for Your intervention in this difficult neighbor situation. We pray that You would soften the hearts of these neighbors and grant them a spirit of empathy and understanding. Make your presence felt in their lives that leads to a heartfelt conviction that changes their hearts. We ask this because the bible says in 1 Timothy 4:2 that through the conviction of the Holy Spirit and the word of God the conscience can be seared as with a hot iron.
Father God, we also pray for Cynan, asking that You grant them the strength, patience, and wisdom to handle this situation with grace. And we ask this the same wisdom and Love is shown to the neighbors. Remind Cynan to lean on You during this time and to trust in Your faithfulness. Help Cynan to remember not to be mean, but forgive as the actions of others and speak the truth even if it is difficult because Luke 6:27 says love enemies, do good to those who hate you, but also rebuke those actions.
We recognize that You are sovereign, Lord, and that You can turn even the most difficult situations into opportunities for growth and testimony. We ask that You would use this situation to bring glory to Your name and to draw Cynan and the neighbors closer to You. Father God Jehovah Nissi, we also pray for the salvation of the neighbors, asking that You would reveal Yourself to them and that they would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
In regards to your neighbors, we encourage you to follow the guidance of Romans 12:18 WEB: "If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men." Try to have an open and honest conversation with them about how their behavior is affecting you. Share with them, as a callback to Mathew 22:39 WEB "“You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’"Explain the distress to the situation. However, ultimately remember that you cannot control their actions, only your own.
Continue to pray for them and trust that God is working in their lives. And be encouraged . Jesus gave these instructions for this situation in Mathew 18:15-17. If the other person does not listen, even if they are being immoral, Jesus gave further instructions in Mathew 18:16-17 Because the bible calls people who cause sin to others "immoral". It says in Mathew 18:7 "Woe to the world because of occasions of stumbling! For it must be that the occasions come; but woe to that person through whom the occasion comes!" But we are also not meant to suffer in silence. Jesus said to tell them when they stumble us. If they do not listen to us, take a mutual friend. If they do not listen to the friend, tell the church. If they do not listen to the church, treat them as a sinner and unbeliever.
(Don't) Let your heart(s) be troubled. Take additional strength from Jesus in explaining these steps, including 1st John 2:22 and in 3 John 1:9-10: Whoever transgresses and doesn’t remain in the teaching of Christ, doesn’t have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you, and doesn’t bring this teaching, don’t receive him into your house, and don’t welcome him, for he who welcomes him (These people who will not live uprightly as instructed) participates in his evil works".
Lastly, remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Stand firm in your faith and trust in Him. Pray for the neighbors if they are immoral and won’t stop, and the bible says they are wicked, treat them as sinners, do not let them into your house, and don’t welcome them. Remain faithful to Christ and ask the Lord to show you what you should do after that. Amen
