Let us come together in prayer for Von, who is struggling and in need of encouragement. We trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word, which tell us that we have not be given a spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7, WEB).
Firstly, we acknowledge the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). If Von has not already done so, we encourage them to put their faith in Jesus Christ, for "whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved" (Romans 10:13, WEB).
In addressing Von's struggles, we are reminded of the words of the Apostle Paul, who said, "We are pressed on every side, yet not crushed; perplexed, yet not in despair; pursued, yet not forsaken; struck down, yet not destroyed" (2 Corinthians 4:8-9, WEB). Let us take comfort in knowing that even in our struggles, God is with us and will not forsake us.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Von in prayer. Lord, we ask that You would surround them with Your love and comfort them in their struggles. Give them the strength and courage to face whatever challenges they may be going through, and remind them of Your unfailing presence in their life.
Help Von to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, leading them in the path of righteousness for Your name's sake (Psalm 23:3, WEB). And above all, we pray that Von would put their hope and trust in You, knowing that You are faithful and true.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous, Von. The Lord your God is with you wherever you go (Joshua 1:9, WEB). Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB), and trust in Him to see you through.
