Let us bring your ### before the throne of grace in prayer. Before we begin, we must remember that it is by the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB
Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
So let us pray together for your ###.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up our ### to You. Lord, You know his needs and the desires of his heart. We pray that Your will be done in his life, and that if it is Your will, he will find favor in his interviews and secure a good job.
We pray that You would guide him through the process of applying and interviewing. We pray for God's favor upon him so that the interviewers would see his strengths, gifts, and talents. Help him communicate well, impress those making the decision, and have good success.
Colossians 3:23-24 says 'Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ.'
We pray for Your provision and that the Lord would give him wisdom. He must understand that he is doing all things as working for the Lord, not man. We pray for his testimony in the marketplace and that he will be a good Christian witness on the job.
In Jesus' name.
We encourage you to remind your ### of 1 Timothy 5:8 WEB
But if anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
As he looks for work, he must remember that he is not only providing for himself but potentially for a future family. He should be encouraged to be responsible and work diligently to provide for his needs and the needs of others. This is a biblical principle that aligns with God's will for our lives.
Let us continue to trust in the Lord's provision and guidance. God is faithful! We should pray to help him obtain a job but also we must pray that he will grow in the Lord and that God would be magnified in his life.
