Dear Elodie, we are standing with you in prayer, trusting that God has gone before you in this journey. We are encouraged that you acknowledged the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and it is by His name we are saved. As it is written the WEB "In him we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." Also, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved, "there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
We pray that if it is God's will, you will receive this job offer and that it will be a blessing to you and a tool for God to use you mightily. We pray that you will not only find favor with John but also that this job will be a platform for you to be a light for Christ. Remember, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men,".
However, we also pray that you will be open to God's will, whatever that may be. If this job is not part of His plan, we pray that you will trust in His timing and provision. Lord, we ask for favor in the eyes of the employer. Let their qualifications, character, and potential be recognized, and may the hiring decision be guided by Your divine will. As Your Word in Proverbs 16:3 says, “Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and He will establish your plans,” we commit this job opportunity to You and trust in Your perfect plan.
We also ask for peace to fill their heart as they wait for the outcome.
