Let's continue to lift up Tuirrad's request for help in buying a house. "Ask and it will be given to you" (Matt 7:7). Trusting God's provision & timing!
Thank you for bringing this request to our attention. We will join you in praying for Eric, your son, as he seeks employment that is handpicked by the Lord. We trust in God's perfect plan for his life and believe that He has a specific purpose and calling for Eric.
Let us remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It is essential that Eric trusts in the Lord and acknowledges Him in all his ways, including his job search.
We pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Eric to You. Lord, we ask that You guide him to the job that You have specifically chosen for him. Open the doors of opportunity that only You can open, and give him favor in the sight of potential employers.
Help Eric to trust in You and to acknowledge You in all his ways. Guide his steps and make his paths straight. Give him the wisdom and discernment to recognize the job that You have handpicked for him, and help him to glorify You through his work.
We also pray that Eric would come to know your son Jesus if he does not already. It is only through Jesus that we have access to you. It is through Jesus that you have provided us with salvation. "for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” Ac 4:12 (WEB)

Encourage Eric to be patient and to wait on the Lord's timing. Remind him that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9), and that He has a specific purpose and calling for his life.
We also encourage Eric to be diligent in his job search, but to ultimately trust in the Lord to provide the job that He has prepared for him. Remind him that God is faithful, and that He will provide all his needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
Lastly, we encourage Eric to seek God's will in all areas of his life, including his relationships and future marriage. We pray that God would bring a godly spouse into his life, and that he would pursue relationships that align with biblical principles.

We trust in Your promise from Jeremiah 29:11: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” Guide Eric to the job that will bring him growth, fulfillment, and the ability to serve You and others.
We ask for Your favor to go before him as he applies, interviews, and explores new opportunities. As Psalm 90:17 says, “May the favor of the Lord our God rest on us; establish the work of our hands for us.” Bless the work of Eric’s hands and open doors that no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). Let him find favor with employers and those who will recognize the potential You have placed within him.

We also ask for peace and patience as Eric waits on You. Remind him of Philippians 4:19: “And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of His glory in Christ Jesus.” Provide not only a job but also the resources, confidence, and hope he needs in this season.
Strengthen Eric’s faith, Lord, so he can hold on to the truth of Isaiah 40:31: “Those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
