We understand the importance of your request and we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your employment situation. We are reminded of the scripture in Colossians 3:23-24 WEB, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Firstly, we want to encourage you to keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a perfect plan for your life. It is wonderful that you are seeking meaningful work that can impact others positively. We also want to remind you that it is not just about the job itself, but also about how you can glorify God in whatever position He places you in.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### who is seeking Your will for their employment. Lord, we know that You have a perfect plan for their life and we ask that Your will be done in this situation. If it is Your will, we pray that they may be blessed with the job they interviewed for, not just for financial gain, but so that they can be a blessing to others and bring glory to Your name.
We pray that You would prepare them for the task, give them wisdom, and help them to be a light in the workplace. If it is not Your will for them to have this job, we pray that You would close this door gently and open up the right opportunities for them. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereignty.
We also pray that ### would seek You first and that this situation would draw them closer to You. We pray all of this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way to approach God the Father. As the scripture says, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue to seek God's face and to trust in Him, knowing that He is faithful and that He cares for you. Remember that God is the one who gives us the ability to produce wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18 WEB), and that He will supply all of your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Be encouraged and keep on keeping on.
