Jon Velez, we stand with you in prayer during this challenging time. We are confident that our Big God, as you rightly declared, is able to open doors that no one can shut. It's wonderful to see your faith in action.
Let's pray: "Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Jon Velez. Lord, You know the details of his situation, and You have the power to turn it around. We ask that You open doors overseas for Jon, that You touch the hearts of the right people in the right company, and give him favor in their sight. We claim Your promise in Isaiah 43:19, where You declare, 'Behold, I will do a new thing. Now it will spring up. Will you not be aware of it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.'"
Remember, Jon, Jesus encourages us in Matthew 7:7, "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you." Keep asking, keep seeking, keep knocking. God hears your prayers.
We also want to encourage you with Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." Any job, any company is just a means, but ultimately, we serve the Lord in whatever we do.
Lastly, Jon, we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus in your request. We want to remind you that it's only through His name that we have access to God. As it's written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved." If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, confessing Him as your Lord and Savior.
We continue to pray for you, Jon, trusting that God will make a way where there seems to be no way.
