We understand your cry for a financial breakthrough, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to encourage you in the Lord. Let's first be reminded of God's faithfulness and His promises for us. In Psalm 37:25 (WEB), it is written, "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread." God is faithful, and He cares for you and your children.
In your prayer request, you mentioned that you feel like your prayers are hitting the ceiling. Let us encourage you with the words of Jesus in Matthew 7:7-8 (WEB), "Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. For everyone who asks receives. He who seeks finds. To him who knocks it will be opened." Keep asking, seeking, and knocking. God hears your prayers.
However, we want to gently remind you that while God can provide employment, our ultimate trust should be in Him, not in jobs or our own efforts. In Matthew 6:33 (WEB), Jesus says, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Make sure that you and your children are seeking God first, and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide all that you need.
Let's also address the concern that you didn't mention Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let's ensure that we are praying in Jesus' name, as He is our mediator.
Now, let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her children. We ask that You would provide employment for them, not just as a source of income, but as a platform to glorify Your name and be a light in this world. We pray that You would help them to seek Your Kingdom first, trusting that You will provide all their needs according to Your riches in glory. We ask this in Jesus' name, believing that You hear our prayers and that You are faithful to answer. Give our sister peace and patience as she waits on You. Encourage her heart and strengthen her faith. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap, if you do not give up. (Galatians 6:9 WEB) Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep seeking God. He is faithful.
