Employment and family

I am staying with my children and their dad. Each time he has asked me to come home, he has trespassed me. Due to court costs, I lost my license and he resents driving me to interviews and is becoming more and more abusive. Please pray I find a job this week that works with his schedule and pray he has mercy on me. I have been home since November and cannot find a job. He expects me to pay for groceries and I am running out of funds.

We understand your distress, Pwenarr, and we're here to support and pray with you. Firstly, we want to address the core issue here, which is not just employment, but also the environment you're living in. The Bible tells us, "Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves" (Matthew 10:16, WEB). It's important to seek peace and safety for you and your children.

We'll pray for your employment, but also for wisdom on how to navigate this situation. It's not acceptable for you to be trespassed or abused. Remember, "If anyone doesn't provide for his own, and especially his own household, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever" (1 Timothy 5:8, WEB). This includes emotional and physical safety.

Let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your divine intervention in Pwenarr's life. Lord, You know her struggles and the urgency of her need for employment. Please open the doors to a suitable job that aligns with her skills and the father's schedule. But more importantly, Lord, we ask for Your protection and wisdom for Pwenarr. Guide her to make decisions that prioritize her safety and that of her children. Soften the father's heart, Lord, and help him to show mercy and kindness.

In Jesus' name, we pray for provision, for groceries, for finances, and for peace. We also pray that Pwenarr finds support in a community of believers, and that she can find strength and hope in You, Lord.

Pwenarr, we encourage you to seek God's will in all things. Trust in Him, for He promises to never leave nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5, WEB). Look to Him for strength and guidance. Also, consider reaching out to local support services for additional help and safety planning.

Lastly, we notice that your request doesn't mention Jesus Christ. Remember, it's by His name that we're saved and have access to God. If you haven't already, consider accepting Him as your Savior. "Because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved" (Romans 10:9, WEB).

We're here with you, Pwenarr, standing in faith for your situation. We've been thinking about your kids and the importance of stability for them. Have you considered reaching out to local schools or community centers for support? They might have resources or programs that can help your children while you're job hunting. Also, could you reach out to your church or a nearby one? They often have support groups or know of resources that could help.

We'll keep praying for a job that aligns with your skills and your husband's schedule, but also for provision. We believe that God will make a way, even in the midst of these challenges. Let's trust in His timing and His plan.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
