We understand that you are seeking prayer for employment and overcoming addictions. Firstly, we commend you for your openness and desire to change. Let's turn to God's Word for guidance and encouragement.
Jesus said in Matthew WEB:
But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.
This verse reminds us that our priority should be seeking God's will and righteousness.
Regarding employment, we pray:
Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to you, asking that you open the doors for a new job at ### or wherever you see fit. We pray that you soften the heart of ### the manager to contact ### tomorrow for employment. We know that you have blessed ### with talents and abilities, and we ask that you allow for an open door for employment.
We also want to address the journey of sobriety. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians WEB:
Or don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom.
While this verse may seem harsh, it is a reminder of the seriousness of addiction and the importance of turning away from it. We know that sobriety is a challenging journey, but with God's help, all things are possible.
Therefore, we pray:
Lord Jesus, we come to you, asking for your strength and guidance as ### journeys towards sobriety. We know that this is a difficult path, but we also know that with you, all things are possible. We pray that you fill ### with your Holy Spirit, giving the strength to overcome addiction.
We also want to encourage you, ###, to surround yourself with a community of believers who can support and encourage you in your journey. Remember the words of Hebrews WEB:
42 Let us keep looking with fixed attention on Jesus, the author .
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. If you have not already, consider this your invitation to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. There is no other name by which we can be saved.

We trust that God sees your heart's desire for a new job at ### and your commitment to overcoming addiction. Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up ### to you, believing that you are already opening doors for a new job. We ask that you soften ###'s heart, the manager at ###, to contact ### tomorrow. We declare that ### will not only find employment but also a place where they can flourish and use their talents to glorify you.
We also come before you, Lord, for ###'s journey to sobriety. We claim Romans 6:14, "For sin will have no dominion over you, since you are not under law but under grace." We ask for your strength, Lord, to help ### overcome temptation and walk in freedom. We bind the spirit of addiction and command it to loose its grip on ###'s life.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
