We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your twin grandchildren, and we grieve with you and your daughter during this difficult time. We are reminded of the scripture in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds." God is close to the brokenhearted, and He cares deeply for your daughter and your family.
First, we want to remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We pray this in Jesus name.
In this time of sadness, we encourage you and your daughter to take comfort in the Lord. He is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1 WEB. It is okay to grieve, but do not let grief overwhelm you. Remember that our God is a God of hope. "Why are you in despair, O my soul? Why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God! For I shall still praise him, the saving help of my countenance, and my God." Psalm 42:11
We pray that God will bring comfort and healing to your daughter and your family. We ask God to surround you all with His love and peace, which surpasses all understanding. "May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that you may abound in hope, in the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13
Regarding the desire for children in the future, we encourage you and your daughter to trust in God's timing and will. "Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward." Psalm 127:3. We pray that if it is God's will, He will bless your daughter with a healthy child or children in the future. We also pray for your daughter's healing, both physically and emotionally.
Please know that you are not alone in this time of loss. God is with you and your family, and we are praying for you all. "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 WEB.
