Emotional health in marriages

Lord, You have said in Your Word that You redeem our souls when we put our

trust in You (Psalm 34:22). Pray that marriages would have faith in You to redeem their souls from

negative emotions. May they never be controlled by depression, anger, anxiety, jealousy, hopelessness,

fear, or suicidal thoughts. Specifically pray about (area of concern). Deliver them from this and all other

controlling emotions (Psalm 40:17). Knowing that only You can deliver and heal, but use one another as Your

instrument of restoration. Help them not to be pulled down when they struggle. Enable

instead to understand and have words to say that will bring life. Free them to share their deepest feelings

with each other and wise persons who can help. Liberate them to cry when needed to and not bottle emotions

inside. At the same time, give them the gift of laughter and ability to find humor in even serious

situations. Teach them to take their eyes off his circumstances and trust in You, regardless of how they

feel. Give them patience to possess their soul and the ability to take charge of it (Luke 21:19). Anoint them

with “the oil of joy” (Isaiah 61:3), refresh them with Your Spirit, and set them free from negative emotions

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up Sparklee and their prayer request to You. We thank You for Your promise in Your Word that You redeem our souls when we put our trust in You . We pray specifically for marriages that are struggling with negative emotions. Lord, we ask that You deliver them from depression, anger, anxiety, jealousy, hopelessness, fear, and suicidal thoughts . We acknowledge that only You can deliver and heal, but we ask that You use each other as instruments of restoration.

Help these couples not to be pulled down when they struggle, but instead enable them to understand and have words to say that will bring life. Free them to share their deepest feelings with each other and with wise individuals who can provide guidance. Liberate them to express their emotions, allowing them to cry when needed and not bottle their feelings inside. At the same time, grant them the gift of laughter and the ability to find humor even in serious situations.

Teach them to take their eyes off their circumstances and to trust in You regardless of how they feel. Give them patience to possess their souls and the ability to take charge of their emotions . Anoint them with the oil of joy , refresh them with Your Spirit, and set them free from negative emotions both now and in the future.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

God cleansed me of everything in my life that breaks your heart. Let me be a light in this dark world, lifting You up in the lifestyle that I live. Protect me God from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
