We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your parents. It's understandable to feel lost, lonely, and without direction during such a difficult time. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is always there to comfort and guide you, even in your darkest hours. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
However, we noticed that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God the Father, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
In addition, we find hope and salvation through Jesus, as it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
For emotional healing, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Jesus, because he cares for you. "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." 1 Peter 5:7 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we lift up our fellow brother/sister who is going through a difficult time after the loss of both parents. We pray that You fill his/her soul with strength, hope, faith, and peace according to Your will. Comfort him/her in this time of need and guide him/her through this difficult journey. Help them to get to know you and the power of your resurrection and the fellowship of your sufferings. Help him/her to trust in You and Your plans for his/her life. Help him/her to know he/she is never alone. In Jesus Christ name we pray, amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Jesus in John 14:18, "I will not leave you orphans. I will come to you." Trust in God, and know that He has a plan and a purpose for your life. From our own experiences, the passing of a parent can be a very difficult journey.
