We are truly sorry to hear about the emotional turmoil you've been experiencing, and we appreciate your courage in seeking prayer and help. We believe that God is indeed pointing you towards addressing these personal issues, and we are here to support you in prayer and guidance.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18 WEB. He is always with you, even in your darkest hours.
It's important to recognize that healing begins with forgiveness. The Bible tells us, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you don't forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Matthew 6:14-15 WEB. This includes forgiving your parents for the hurt they may have caused, whether intentionally or not.
Regarding your feelings of rejection, remember that God accepts you as you are. Ephesians 1:6 WEB says, "to the praise of the glory of his grace, by which he freely gave us favor in the Beloved.". Your worth is not determined by human approval but by God's love for you.
In dealing with anxiety and depression, cast your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. Also, take heart in knowing that God has a plan and a purpose for you. Jeremiah 29:11 WEB says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is hurting emotionally. Lord, you know the depths of the pain and rejection they feel. We pray for your healing touch upon their life. Help them to forgive those who have hurt them, just as you forgive us.
We pray for their anxiety and depression. Lord, you tell us to cast our anxieties on you, and we do that now. Please fill our brother/sister with your peace that surpasses all understanding.
Guide them as they navigate through these emotions. Give them wisdom and discernment to understand what they're feeling and why. Help them to see themselves through your eyes, as your beloved child.
We pray for their family, that you would work in their hearts and draw them closer to you.
Lastly, Lord, we pray for their salvation, that they would come into the faith if they have not already. We pray that they would believe in Jesus Christ to be saved. Lastly, we pray that the name of Jesus Christ would be lifted up by this person's life and that the Holy Spirit would be able to dwell within them. We pray that you would be with them, guide them, and counsel them. We pray for all these things in Jesus name.
Guide us all to walk in your truth, Lord, and live in your light. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
