Thank you for your prayer and God bless you.We are truly saddened to hear about the emotional turmoil your son is experiencing. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's comfort and guidance for him.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God cares deeply about your son's emotional well-being. In Psalm 34:18, the WEB tells us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." We can trust that God is close to your son in this time of need.
However, we must also address the root cause of his emotional breakdown. It is important to remind him that love and fulfillment do not come from another person alone, but from a deep and intimate relationship with God. In John 4:14, Jesus says, "But whoever drinks of the water that I will give him will never be thirsty again; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life." Only God can quench the thirst of the soul and fill the void that your son may be feeling.
Moreover, we want to encourage your son to trust in God's timing for a spouse. In Proverbs 18:22, it is written, "He who finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray that God will guide your son to a godly wife, and that they may build a marriage that honors Him. But we also remind him that God's timing is perfect, and that he should not rush into a relationship out of loneliness or desperation.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Rerathen's son. Lord, he is going through a time of emotional breakdown, feeling a lack of love and loneliness. We ask that You comfort him and remind him of Your unfailing love for him. Help him to find his identity and fulfillment in You, and not in the world's standards of love and relationships.
We also pray that You will guide him to a godly spouse, someone who will love and cherish him, and who will help him grow in Your likeness. But Lord, we trust in Your timing, and we ask that You give him the patience and strength to wait on Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Lastly, we want to encourage your son to keep his eyes fixed on Jesus. In Hebrews 12:1-2, we are reminded to "run with perseverance the race that is set before us, looking to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith." May he find hope and strength in his walk with God, and may he trust in His plan for his life.
