We understand that you're going through a challenging time, feeling upset and overwhelmed, and we want you to know that you're not alone. God cares deeply for you, and so do we. Let's address the terms upset, unworthiness and rejection. We will start with upset, which is very close to anger.
Ephesians 4:26-27 WEB Be angry, yet do not sin. Do not let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.
Romans 12:18 WEB If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men.
Upset is a form of anger. Anger is permitted, but not anger that leads to sin. We are to be at peace with all men.
Next, we will address unworthiness. Our worth is determined by what we are willing to pay for something. If we would not give up anything for something, then it is worth nothing to us.
Romans 5:8 WEB But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
We are worth Jesus Christ dying for us. Jesus Christ died for us and paid for our sins. All of the things we did in sin are paid for. When somebody makes a purchase, they do not want to be reminded of what they paid for something. They own it, and they want to enjoy it. Jesus owns us. He wants to enjoy us. We should not be dwelling on our sins, rather we should be dwelling on Jesus Christ, and his purchase of us.
Romans 8:38-39 WEB For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Nothing can separate us from the love of God.
Lastly, we will address rejection. No Christian should ever feel rejected.
John 6:37 WEB All those whom the Father gives me will come to me. Him who comes to me I will in no way throw out.
No one that comes to Jesus Christ will be rejected.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you, lifting up our brother in Christ who is feeling upset, unworthy, and rejected. We pray that they will be reminded of your great love for them, knowing that they were worth the precious blood of Jesus. Help them to rest in your love, to cast all their cares upon you, and to find their peace and security in you alone.
We pray for divine order in their environment, that your will be done in every aspect of their life. Guide them by your Holy Spirit, and help them to trust in your perfect plan.
In the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to meditate on God's Word, especially the verses shared above. Remember that nothing can separate you from the love of God, and you're accepted and cherished by Him. Whenever you feel overwhelmed, turn to Jesus, and He will give you the peace that passes all understanding.
If you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in your original request, we encourage you to understand that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. This is extremely important to understand. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
Acts 4:12 WEB There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We encourage you to learn the basic salvation message and be able to understand and recite it.
