Let's continue to agree with Joseph Gelli, trusting God's healing and peace for his heart, asthma, and future spouse. "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Ps 34:18). Remember, God cares for you deeply! Keep praying, saints!
We understand that you're struggling with emetophobia, which is an intense fear of vomiting or seeing others vomit. This can indeed hinder you from living life to the fullest. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus in this situation. We are reminded in Romans 8:15 WEB, "For you didn't receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption, by whom we cry, 'Abba! Father!'" This verse reassures us that we have not been given a spirit of fear, but a spirit of adoption, making us children of God. Therefore we believe Jesus is able to overwhelm this fear and anxiety. Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you lifting up ### who is battling with emetophobia. We rebuke this debilitating fear and anxiety that is preventing them from living life to the fullest, for it is not from you. We ask you, Lord Jesus, to overwhelm this fear with your perfect love, for perfect love casts out fear.
We stand on your word in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." We pray that your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard the heart and mind of ###.
Father, remind them that you are always with them, strengthening and upholding them with your righteous right hand. Help them to trust in you and not to be afraid, for you are their strength and song, and you have become their salvation.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
We encourage you, ###, to hold firmly to the promises of God. Whenever fear and anxiety arise, rebuke them in the name of Jesus and declare God's promises over your life. Heavenly Father, thank You so much for Your love for us. We know that You are all-powerful and faithful, and that we can trust You with anything and everything. We pray now that You would make Your guiding hand known as we lift this person to you and pray for his feelings of vomiting. When we face struggles, setbacks, stress, and other attacks, it's easy to withdraw ourselves and enter the valley of anxiety. In these moments, we pray that You give the strength, resilience, and fortitude to us to be successful in overcoming these challenges and to know that You will provide all that is needed climb out of any dark valleys so we can experience Your peace and be closer to You. We know that you will continue to provide guidance and direction on this path and that You will help bring about the best outcome. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
