We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation you are facing, and we are here to stand with you in prayer and to provide biblical guidance. Firstly, we want to assure you that God is a refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
In times of danger and fear, we can trust in the Lord to protect us and guide us. As it says in Psalm 91:1-2, "He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of Yahweh, 'He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.'"
Given the urgency of your situation, we want to emphasize the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father, and it is only through His name that we can be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). As it says in John 16:23-24, "Most assuredly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
Regarding the situation with your husband, we want to encourage you to pray for him and for your marriage. As it says in 1 Peter 3:1-2, "In like manner, wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; so that, even if any don’t obey the Word, they may be won by the behavior of their wives without a word; seeing your pure behavior in fear."
We also want to remind you of the power of prayer and forgiveness in marriages. As it says in Ephesians 5:22-33, wives are to be subject to our husbands, and husbands are to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the church. When both husband and wife are walking according the words of God that is when we are able to have the husband and wife relationship that is harmonious and loving.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister in her time of need. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, and we ask that You protect her and her family from any plans that may cause them harm. We pray for her husband, that You would soften his heart and turn it towards You and towards his wife. We pray for their marriage, that You would heal any brokenness and restore their family foundation.
Lord, we ask that You would give our sister Your peace that passes all understanding in this situation and that we would be able to glorify God in our response. We ask these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
