Disciple of Prayer
My special prayer request is for our foster daughter Carlee. We have had Carlee since she was three days old. We brought her home from the hospital. She is now 17 months old. Wednesday is her birthday mom’s court hearing for termination of her rights. Mom has not been clean for a long time. Through almost the whole time Mom has failed drug test. Over the past few weeks Mom finally has past drug test. However, she won’t be able to a hair folicial test cause it would still show were she has failed in the past. There won’t be enough time to do the test before court. Other things are going on such as Carlee not viewing her as a mother. She see my wife and I as her parents not her bio mom. So lately Carlee has been have issues with the visits. The bio father has passed away. Anyway, the court date is soon. I asked you to remember Carlee. Carlee was asked not to come. However, my wife and I will have to go and be asked questions. We will have to testify. Also remember the judge, Carlees lawyer, caseworker, everyone involved. This will be a long and difficult hearing. I pray that the judge and everyone sees that mom rights should be terminated and does it. I pray we don’t loose Carlee. I truly feel bio mom is not the best option for Carlee. Help us speak on behalf of Carlee correctly. But most of all please help us through. I know God can intervene and make it happen. Please don’t let lose Carlee. We really want to adopt her. Their is also a petitioner who wants custody as well. Another foster parent who has never met Carlee. They have never spent time with her and they are not family. DCS (department of children services) does not support her. She has to many kids already. So I also pray this petitioner does not get her either. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

We join with you, Tyawix, in lifting up your urgent prayer request for Carlee and this critical court hearing. We stand on the promise of God's word that He hears and answers our prayers, and that He is a friend to the fatherless (Psalm 68:5, WEB).

Firstly, we commend you for your love and commitment to Carlee. You have been her parents in every way that matters, and your desire to adopt her reflects the heart of God, who also adopts us into His family (Romans 8:15, WEB).

As you face this hearing, remember that God is sovereign over the hearts of kings (or judges, in this case) and can turn them as He pleases (Proverbs 21:1, WEB). Trust that He can intervene and grant Carlee a permanent, loving home with you.

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, pleading on behalf of Tyawix, his wife, and their precious foster daughter, Carlee. Lord, You see the love they have for this child, and You know the plans You have for her (Jeremiah 29:11, WEB). We ask that You guide the judge's decision, giving him wisdom from above (James 1:5, WEB). We pray that Carlee's biological mother's rights would be terminated, as it seems best for Carlee, and that Tyawix and his wife would be granted adoption. Lord, please do not let Carlee be handed over to someone she doesn't know or who cannot adequately care for her.

We also pray for strength and peace for Tyawix and his wife as they testify. Give them the words to speak (Luke 12:12, WEB), and let their love for Carlee be evident to all.

Lastly, Father, we pray for Carlee's biological mother. Though she has struggled, we know You can redeem and restore her. Draw her to Yourself, Lord, and help her to find freedom from her addictions.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray these things, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. Amen."

Tyawix, continue to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Stay strong in your faith, knowing that God loves Carlee even more than you do, and He will do what is best for her.

We're right there with you, Tyawix, lifting up Carlee and your family in our prayers. We're reminded of God's heart for the orphan and the fatherless, and we believe He's got His eyes on this situation. Here's what we're praying for:

First, we're asking God to give the judge a spirit of wisdom and understanding (Colossians 1:9). We trust that He can soften hearts and grant favor (Proverbs 21:1). We're believing for a clear, swift decision that's in Carlee's best interest.

We're also praying for peace and protection over Carlee. We ask that God would shield her from any further trauma and that she would feel His loving presence around her (Psalm 34:7). We're believing for a miracle in her heart, that she would begin to see your family as her true family.

We're standing with you and your wife as you testify. We're asking for boldness, clarity, and love to flow from you both (Ephesians 6:19-20). We're believing that your love for Carlee would be evident to all, and that the judge would be moved by your testimony.

Lastly, we're praying for Carlee's biological mother. We're asking God to draw her to Him, to heal her, and to set her free from her addictions (Psalm 40:2). We're believing for restoration and redemption in her life.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray these things, trusting in His goodness and mercy. Keep trusting, Tyawix. God's got this, and He's working all things together for Carlee's good (Romans 8:28).

Heavenly Father,

We come before You with a special prayer request for Carlee, who has been lovingly cared for by [User] and their spouse since she was just three days old. Lord, we lift up this precious child to You, asking for Your divine protection and guidance as the court date approaches, where the decision about her future will be made.

Father, we pray for wisdom and discernment for the judge, Carlee’s lawyer, the caseworker, and all those involved in this hearing. We ask that You guide their hearts and minds to see what is truly in Carlee’s best interest. May the truth be clear, and may justice prevail. We pray that the judge recognizes the love and stability that [User] and their spouse have provided for Carlee and that they see that terminating the biological mother’s rights is in Carlee’s best interest. We ask that Your will be done, and that Carlee’s future is secure in a loving and safe home where she can continue to thrive.

Lord, we also lift up [User] and their spouse as they prepare to testify. Give them the strength, clarity, and courage to speak on behalf of Carlee. Let their words be guided by Your wisdom, and may they be a strong voice for what is right and just. We pray that they remain calm and confident throughout this process, trusting in Your presence and guidance.

Father, we ask that the petitioner who seeks custody, but has never met Carlee, does not succeed. We trust that You will protect Carlee from being placed in a situation that is not best for her. We pray that Carlee can remain with those who have loved her and cared for her as their own, and that the path to adoption is made clear and smooth.

We place all of our trust in You, Lord, knowing that You hold Carlee in the palm of Your hand. We ask for Your intervention and for a positive outcome that allows Carlee to remain in a home where she is cherished and nurtured.

"Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6)

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." (Psalm 34:18)

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
