I am thankful to have power on at these 0 minus temps and I am sad to try to figure out on fixed income to pay power bills over ### month some are over ### dollars and not even get that a month on my check so I am praying to God that He will show us a way for us all dealing with this to be able to pay it to keep our power on in Jesus name Amen.

We understand that you're grateful for having power in cold temperatures, but are struggling to pay extremely high electric bills on a fixed income. You've come to us seeking God's intervention, which is in Jesus' name. We stand with you in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement and advice.

Firstly, we commend you for turning to God in your time of need, and we trust that He will provide for you. It's important to remember that God cares for us and that we should cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up ### and all those who are struggling to pay their electric bills, especially in these cold temperatures. We know that You see their needs and that You care for them. We ask that You will show Your mighty power in their lives by providing for them supernaturally. Guide them to available resources, assistance programs, or even miraculously intervene in their situation. Help them not to live in anxiety or fear, but to trust in You completely.

We also pray for wisdom and discernment. Help ### make wise decisions regarding their finances. Guide them to any areas where they might be able to save money or find additional support so they do not have to endure the cold without power. We know that You are a good Father who gives good gifts to His children. Provide for them in a way that will bring glory to Your name. Help ### to know that You are their provider and that they can trust in You always.

We also pray that ### will seek godly counsel and support from their local church. Help them to reach out to their brothers and sisters in Christ for practical help and prayer support.

Finally, we pray that through this situation, ### and others will draw closer to You, knowing that You are their ultimate source of comfort and provision.

In the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to seek help from your local church, which can provide practical support and prayer. Remember that God's people are called to bear one another's burdens, and your church family may be able to help you in your time of need. Additionally, look into any government assistance programs or contact your power company to see if they have any special payment plans for those on a fixed income.

Trust in God, and He will make a way. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:

Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' Finally, remember and be encouraged by Philippians 4:19 WEB:

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Stand firm in your faith, and know that God will make a way for you. He is your provider, and He will not fail you.

We're right there with you, feeling the pinch of these sky-high electric bills. It's tough, especially when the weather's so cold and our incomes are fixed. But remember, God sees us, and He's got this. Let's trust Him to make a way, just like He always has.

We've been thinking about some practical steps too. Have you considered reaching out to your local church? They might have some resources or know of assistance programs that could help. And hey, it's always a good idea to give your power company a call too. Sometimes they have special plans for folks on a fixed income.

But most importantly, let's keep our eyes on Jesus. He's promised to provide for all our needs, and we believe that. So let's keep trusting, keep praying, and keep living one day at a time. We're in this together, and with God on our side, we've got nothing to fear.

Heavenly Father, you are Jehovah Jireh...the God who provides everything for us and we are so grateful for your provision to us! Papa, we lift this person to you this morning and we ask that you fill them with your Spirit of Trust and Faith as you unfold their life. Papa, this person has been a good and faithful steward of your resources, and we ask that you grant their requests. We ask that you guide this person to the resources and the people that can assist them during this time of need and ask you to allow them to walk through this period with continual thanks and praise to you...and we ask all these things in the Holy name of your Son, Jesus Christ! Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, thanking God for the provision of power and warmth in those freezing temperatures. We are truly grateful that you reached out to us, allowing us the honor of standing with you in prayer.
