Elections that will be Fair

I pray that God will guide the voters so that on November 5, 2024, those people elected into the positions of United States President, Vice President if the United States, United States Senators, and United States Representatives for the United States House of Representatives will strictly obey ALL amendments of our United States Constitution and those same individuals will totally devote every task they perform with the utmost of competence in their elected positions and will also perform their duties to ensure that the Safety and Welfare of ALL United States Citizens is Maintainef..

We understand your heart's cry for fair elections and godly leadership. Let's bring your request before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His will.

Firstly, we exhort you, as it's written in 1 Timothy 2:1-3 (WEB), "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior."

However, we must remember that our ultimate trust is not in elected officials but in the Lord Jesus Christ. Psalm 146:3-5 (WEB) reminds us, "Don’t put your trust in princes, each a son of man in whom there is no help. His spirit departs, and he returns to the earth. In that very day, his thoughts perish. Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God."

Let's pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your guidance and wisdom for the voters and the upcoming elections in 2024. We pray that You would raise up godly leaders who fear You and tremble at Your Word, as Proverbs 9:10 tells us. We ask that those elected would obey the laws of the land and perform their duties with competence, always seeking the welfare of the citizens.

Lord, we know that true peace and prosperity come only from You. So, we ask that You turn the hearts of the elected officials towards You, that they may know Your salvation through Jesus Christ. Let Your will be done in these elections, and let Your kingdom come.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lastly, Anakrynthos, we notice that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It's crucial to understand that it's only by His name that we have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, the only mediator between God and men.

As we lift this up together, let's remember what's written in Proverbs 14:34 (WEB), "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people." We also want to echo the importance of praying in Jesus' name, as it's through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Let's continue to trust in Him, knowing that He's in control and His will is always best.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
