Good morning, Lord I need your help in deciding whether or not to vote and for whom. Please guide my decision in the name of Jesus Christ. These are very dark times that we’re living in.

We are glad that you have come to seek the Lord's guidance in this matter. It is indeed important to seek His will, especially in times like these. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging the name of Jesus Christ in your request, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).

In matters of governance and elections, we are reminded that God establishes all authorities (Romans 13:1, WEB), and we are to pray for those in authority (1 Timothy 2:1-2, WEB). Voting is a responsibility that should not be taken lightly, as it is a way to participate in the selection of these authorities.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your guidance and wisdom. We ask that You guide ### in their decision-making process regarding the upcoming election. Grant them discernment to vote for candidates who will uphold righteousness, justice, and truth. Give them a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You. Help them to not be swayed by mere words or appearances, but to vote according to Your will and for the good of all people. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to study the candidates and their platforms, comparing them to the principles laid out in God's Word. Look for those who support the sanctity of life (Psalm 139:13-14, WEB), biblical definitions of marriage and family (Genesis 2:24, WEB), and virtues such as honesty, integrity, and humility (Proverbs 11:2, WEB; Titus 2:7-8, WEB).

Remember, it is not about voting for the perfect person, but rather the one who will most align with God's principles. Trust that even when leaders fail, God is ultimately in control (Psalm 22:28, WEB).

Lastly, do not be overcome by the darkness of these times, but remember that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5, WEB). Keep your faith and trust in the Lord, and He will guide your path (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
