Beloved of All
Please pray for my mom and dad (### and ###) they are ### & ###. They are really sick with flu-like symptoms for a couple of days now, they can hardly eat or drink much of anything. Please pray
Elderly Parents Sick
We earnestly join with you in prayer for your parents, ### and ###, as they face this illness. In times like these, we remember the words of the Psalmist, "Heal me, O Lord, and I will be healed. Save me, and I will be saved, for you are my praise" (Jeremiah 17:14 WEB).
Let us pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the precious name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your healing touch upon ### and ###. They are frail and sick, Lord, and we ask that You would strengthen their bodies, ease their discomfort, and restore their health. Give them the ability to eat and drink sufficiently to regain their strength. Be their Great Physician, Lord, for we know that with You, all things are possible.*
In this time of need, we encourage you to lean on the promises of God. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Trust that God is with ### and ###, and that He will uphold them in their time of need.
We also pray for your peace and strength as you care for your parents. May God grant you wisdom and comfort as you attend to their needs. Remember that the Lord is your refuge and your strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the importance of praying in the name of Jesus. It is through His name that we have access to the throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16) and it is by His name that we are saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Savior and to seek Him in all that you do.
In Jesus' name, we pray for healing and comfort for ### and ###. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
