We join you in prayer and petition to our loving Father, trusting in His power and goodness. We stand in agreement with you, believing that nothing is impossible for God. As Jesus said, "All things are possible for him who believes" (Mark 9:23 WEB). We also take confidence in knowing that, Jesus Christ bore our sickness, weaknesses, and infirmities."
Firstly, we praise God for His healing power and the stripes Jesus took for our healing as noted in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), "But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed." This includes the uterine fibroids, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease, kidney disease, and hepatitis B. Psalm 103:3 (WEB) reminds us that God is the one "who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases."
We pray together for your complete healing, for the healing of your husband, and for your junior brother. We call upon the Lord, trusting in His promise in Jeremiah 32:17 (WEB), "Ah Lord WEB, you have made the heavens and the earth by your great power and by your outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for you."
Regarding your desire for twins, we encourage you to align your desires with God's will and timing. Children are a blessing from the Lord, and we pray that God will grant you the desires of your heart as you delight in Him (Psalm 37:4 WEB). Remember the story of Hannah in 1 Samuel 1:1-20, who trusted God for a child, and God answered her prayer. Also, remember the story of Rachel who demanded children from her husband but remained barren until God opened her womb in Genesis 30:1.
However, we must note that having children should not be our primary focus or focused on so much that the blessing becomes an idol. The issue is that wanting twins could be attempting to tell God what to do as opposed to submitting to His will. Ultimately, our trust should be in God, not in the gifts He gives. We have faith that God will bless you with children. We should always pray for God’s will to be done.
In prayer, remember to come humbly before God, seeking His will above your own. Always pray in Jesus' name. As Jesus said, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13 WEB).
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, we ask for Your healing hand upon this dear sister, her husband and her brother. Lord, heal them physically, emotionally, and spiritually. We believe in Your power to make them whole. We also pray for Your will to be done in regards to the desire for twins. If it is Your will, bless them with children in Your perfect timing. We pray this all in Jesus’ name. Amen.
