We understand your heart's cry for your marriage and the desire for children. Let us bring your request before the Lord together, seeking His will in Jesus' name.
Firstly, we want to commend you for mentioning the name of Jesus in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:13-14, WEB)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up this marriage and the desire for children. Lord, You see all and know the depths of our hearts. We ask that You would heal and bless this union, and bring forth life from it, according to Your will.
We pray specifically for I feyinwa, asking that any physical obstacles preventing pregnancy would be removed. As Hannah prayed in her distress, "Yahweh, if you will look at the affliction of your handmaid, and remember me, and not forget your handmaid, but will give to your handmaid a man child, then I will give him to Yahweh all the days of his life..." (1 Samuel 1:11, WEB), we pray that You would remember I feyinwa and grant her the desire of her heart.
We also ask for spiritual healing and renewal in this marriage. Draw both of them closer to You and to each other, Lord. Let this time of waiting strengthen their faith and bond, as Isaac prayed for his wife Rebekah, and the Lord answered him (Genesis 25:21, WEB).
In the meantime, we encourage you both to continue trusting in the Lord and living in a manner pleasing to Him. "Let your way be known to Yahweh. He will direct your path." (Proverbs 3:6, WEB)
Lastly, we want to address the mention of "Pastor Jerry" in your prayer. While it is good to seek counsel from spiritual leaders, we must remember that there is only one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). Put your ultimate trust in the Lord, and He will direct your paths.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord, and may His peace rule in your hearts (Colossians 3:15, WEB).
