We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle your daughter is facing, but we are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical counsel. Firstly, let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this dear daughter who is battling an eating disorder. We know that your heart is for her, that you desire for her to be whole in body, soul, and spirit. We stand against the spirit of destruction and self-harm, and we pray for her deliverance and healing in Jesus' name. We ask that you fill her with your peace, your love, and your truth. Guide her paths and bring her to a place of restoration. In Jesus' name, we pray.
Now, let's look at what the Bible says. In 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, it is written, "Or don’t you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God’s." This passage reminds us that our bodies belong to God and we should honor him with them.
Eating disorders often stem from a deeper emotional or spiritual struggle. It's important to address these underlying issues. In Philippians 4:6-7 WEB, it says, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Encourage your daughter to cast her anxieties and fears on the Lord, and to seek his peace.
It's also crucial to seek professional help alongside spiritual support. Doctors, counselors, and therapists can provide practical tools and strategies to overcome this disorder. In Romans 13:1 WEB, we read, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
Remember, Jesus Christ is the ultimate healer. In Acts 4:12 WEB, we read, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can be saved. It is also by this name we can be healed.
Lastly, we must understand that temptations can be resisted and there is no temptation that we cannot overcome. In 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB, it is written, "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
