We are so grateful to join you in celebrating the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ on this Easter day. It's a poignant reminder of His ultimate sacrifice for us on the cross at Calvary, the triumphant victory over the grave. We stand in awe, with grateful hearts, knowing our lives are secured in Him. Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we bow before You, humbled by the love You showed us through Your Son, Jesus Christ. His sacrifice was not just an example, an act of love, but it was the means by which we are saved and given eternal life. We echo the words of the apostle Paul in Galatians 2:20 WEB: "I have been crucified with Christ, and it is no longer I that live, but Christ living in me. That life which I now live in the flesh, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me."
Father, we ask that You continue to reveal the depth of this sacrifice to us, that we may walk in the newness of life that Jesus' resurrection brings. We declare, as Romans 6:4 WEB says, "We were buried therefore with him through baptism to death, that just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life."
We thank You, Jesus, for our lives, for the hope of eternity with You. We pray that we will live our lives in a manner worthy of this promise, always looking forward to the day we will join You in heaven. As it is written in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 WEB: "For the Lord himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with God's trumpet. The dead in Christ will rise first, then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air. So we will be with the Lord forever."
As we celebrate Easter, let our hearts be filled with worship and adoration, knowing that You are risen indeed! Help us to live in the power of Your resurrection, knowing that we have been set free from sin and death. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to fix your eyes on Jesus, the author, and perfecter of our faith. Happy Easter! May this day serve as a reminder of our risen Savior and the hope we have in Him.
