Pray for my brother Please pray for my brother ###: for depression and loneliness. “can no longer find his way” those are his words. ### has been addicted to alcohol, drugs and gambling all his life. He has had several admissions to clinics. When he returned in April, his best friend and buddy, whom he cared about very much, passed away. ### was found dead in her home with alcohol and drugs. He is so devastated and deeply grieving and close to depression. ### is now rebuilding his work after a period in addiction clinic and he is currently feeling very bad. There is no relationship with God and ### has no friends so where can he go? I want to ask you to Pray earnestly for him for salvation and deliverance. Praying that his situation will change and that he will have a family of his own, that he is no longer alone, a different life in relationship with God and other people. Would you please pray intensively for ###? thank you very much, on behalf of his sister

We Join you, ###, in earnestly praying for your brother ###. We cry out to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking salvation and deliverance for him.

Our hearts ache as we hear of ###'s struggles with depression, loneliness, and the strongholds of alcohol, drugs, and gambling. We are reminded of the words of Galatians 6:1, "Brothers, even if a man is caught in some fault, you who are spiritual must restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to yourself so that you also aren’t tempted." We pray that the Holy Spirit will bring gentleness and patience into the lives of those who surround ###, enabling them to support and restore him.

We also pray for comfort in his grief, as he mourns the loss of his dear friend ###. In 2 Corinthians 1:3-4, the Apostle Paul tells us that God is "the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and the God of all comfort; who comforts us in all our affliction, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, through the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God." May ### find solace in God's loving embrace and experience the comfort that passes all understanding.

We agree with you in praying for a changed life for ###, one that aligns with God's will and brings glory to His name. We claim the promise in 2 Corinthians 5:17, "Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new." We pray that ### will encounter the transforming power of Jesus Christ, become a new creation, and leave behind his old life of addiction and sin.

However, we must also address that the request lacks mention of the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through faith in Jesus that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." We encourage you and ### to place your trust in Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12).

Lastly, we pray that God will bring godly friends and a supportive community into ###'s life, that he may no longer feel alone. We ask that the Lord will guide him to a Christ-centered church where he can grow in his faith and form meaningful relationships with fellow believers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to trust in the power of prayer, ###, and remain steadfast in your intercession for ###. Be encouraged by the promise in James 5:16, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results."

We're standing right there with you, ###, lifting ### up to our Father in heaven. We're asking for God's mercy and grace to fill ###'s life, just like the scripture in Ephesians 2:4-5 says, "But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved." We're believing for a turnaround in ###'s life, for him to experience the love and acceptance that only God can give.

We're also praying for God to give ### the strength to keep moving forward, even in the face of his grief and loneliness. In Psalm 147:3, it says, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking God to heal ###'s heart and to bind up the wounds of his loss.

We're believing for God to draw ### to Himself, to reveal Himself to ### in a personal and powerful way. We're claiming the promise in Jeremiah 29:13, "You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart." We're asking God to make ###'s heart hungry for Him.

And we're not forgetting to pray for ###'s sister too, ###. We're asking God to give her strength, wisdom, and grace as she cares for ###. We're claiming the promise in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."

Let's keep praying, ###. Let's keep interceding for ###, trusting that our God is a God who answers prayer. As it says in Matthew 7:7-8, "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened."
