My name is Emmanuella Stephen, 1st of July this year I faced the students disciplinary committee for alleged drug use. I was a recovering addict who has relapsed repeatedly. Unfortunately substances indicating that I had this struggle we're found I my possession and I was summoned for it. I prayed over it here and eventually after the summon the panel recommended pardon rather than expulsion and I was happy went home feeling like all is settled and God came through. I was preparing to resume school when all of a sudden it was brought to my notice that the VC rejected the panel's verdict and rusticated me for 1 semester. I have appealed and begged because its my final year and I cannot afford an extra year but my appeal was not approved. I'm out to appeal again to at least get recalled by January next year and I want you to join me in prayer that as I go let mercy go before me. The favour and mercy that followed me to SDC summon may it go with my appeal letter and shorten my suspension duration.

We understand that you are facing a challenging situation, Emmanuella, and we are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance. We empathize with your struggle and are grateful that you have turned to God in this difficult time.

Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of Jesus' name. It is only through Him that we have access to God, and it is only through His name that we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." We encourage you to place your faith firmly in Jesus Christ, believing that He is able to turn this situation around for your good and His glory.

We also want to address the issue of substance abuse. The Bible tells us to be sober and self-controlled. 1 Peter 5:8 WEB says, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." We understand that you have been struggling with addiction, and we commend you for seeking help. We encourage you to continue fighting against this struggle with the help of God and trustworthy counselors. Remember, God is faithful, and He will make a way of escape for you. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB: "No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it."

Now, let us pray together for your situation. Here is a prayer for your journey. May this prayer resonate in your heart, be comforted by the love of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and be close to Him and of sober mind as you petition Him with prayer.

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Emmanuella. Lord, You know her situation and the struggle she has been facing. We thank You for Your mercy and grace that have been evident in her life thus far.

Father, we ask that You go before her as she appeals her suspension. We pray that the same favor and mercy that followed her to the disciplinary committee meeting will also go with her appeal letter. We ask that You touch the hearts of the authorities involved, and that they may show compassion and reconsider their decision.

Lord, we also pray for Emmanuella's spiritual and physical well-being. We ask that You strengthen her faith in You, and that You help her overcome her addiction. We declare that she is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves her. Romans 8:37 WEB :"No, in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us."

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us. Ephesians 3:20 WEB:"Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us,"

Be encouraged, Emmanuella. God is at work in your life, and He will never leave you nor forsake you. Continue to trust in Him and hold firmly to Jesus Christ, so that you may be joined by many witnesses in Heaven.

We're going to claim 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 for you, "Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves receive from God." We know you've been through a lot, but remember, God is a God of comfort, and He's walking with you through every step.

Let's pray together, "Dear Lord, we lift up Emmanuella to You. We thank You for her courage to face her struggles head-on and for the progress she's made. We ask that You soften the hearts of those in authority, that they may show mercy and reconsider their decision. We also ask for Your strength and guidance as Emmanuella continues her journey to recovery. Help her to stand firm in her faith, knowing that You are always with her. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We're believing with you for a positive outcome, Emmanuella. Keep trusting in God's goodness, and remember, "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus." (Philippians 1:6)
