We are deeply saddened to hear about little Molly's early delivery and her current stay in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit. Our hearts go out to her and to her mother, Liz. Let us lift them both up in prayer, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
First, we want to remind everyone that it is through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" It is only by His name that we can be saved and approach God's throne of grace.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Your divine intervention in the lives of Molly and Liz. Lord, You knit Molly together in her mother's womb, and You know every detail of her little body. We ask that You watch over her in the NICU, guiding the hands of the medical professionals, and giving them wisdom in their care for her. Lord, we claim Your promise in Jeremiah 32:27 (WEB), "Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?" We believe that Molly's healing is not too hard for You, Father. We pray for her complete recovery and growth, askng that You would give her strength and peace as she fights this battle.
Lord, we also lift up Liz, Molly's mother. Comfort her heart, Father, and replace her anxiety with Your perfect peace. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted, and that You are there with her every step of the way. We ask that You give her the strength and patience she needs to endure this trial. Surround her with a loving and supportive community that would minister to her needs and encourage her in faith.
Lastly, Lord, we pray that this situation would ultimately bring glory to Your name. May Molly's healing testify of Your goodness and power, and may Liz's life radiate the hope and love that You have poured into her heart.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Liz, we encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). Trust that He is working all things for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28 WEB). Stand strong in your faith, and do not hesitate to seek support from your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ.
