Disciple of Prayer
Posting another prayer for my wife's mental wellbeing again in hopes that my prayers will be answered. This week I feel as if God has abandoned us. Although I know this is not true it is just how our circumstances continue to play out. I feel very alone in this fight and hope is fading. I prayer again to our Lord to hear and answer my prayers for my marital health and wife's mental state. Thank you to those members who have prayed for us, I really do appreciate and feel that God is listening but my wife's heart for me remains silent and distant and there is an absolute absence of marital love. This week again, her feelings towards me have remain unchanged and our bond still lacks romantic affection and love; we have become but roommates who used to share loving familiarity. So I am continuing to pray for my wife's mental health and for her to find the peace she needs to remove all mental and emotional conflict within her which stops her from loving me fully and completely. Please (continue to) pray for my wife's mental health and any internal struggle she may have. Reflecting on our 17 years together I realized that my wife exhibits some borderline personality traits that have been triggered by life changing events such as difficult jobs duties, hormonal changes, stress and a midlife crisis which may have resulted in her altered perception of me as a husband. She has initiated a 1 sided trial separation engaging or flirting with the idea of infidelity and going outside of our marriage which has absolutely crushed my heart and soul because these ideals go against the fabric of our understanding of our Love I believe my wife does not truly understand what is troubling her and causing her feelings of emptiness and despair and directing her displeasures in love and life towards me. I pray she has the revelation to seek the help professionally that she needs to gain the tools to help reform a loving relationship for our family. I feel like she is two different people when she is with our family, then when she is away from the house. I love my wife dearly and promised to love her in sickness and in health, for richer or for poorer, for better or worse until death parts us, I have not lost hope but each day becomes increasingly harder. Please pray for our marriage to be filled with more love than when we first met and our family to be a strong unit again and most importantly for my wife to Love and desire me in accordance to God's will. I feel God has given me strength this week to persevere for my family and I can feel His uplifting spirit and carry me through this challenging season. Thank you Lord for listening to my prayers. I pray you can answer them soon. In the name of Jesus Christ, please hear our prayers.

We understand that you are going through a challenging time, Rogyrryn, and we want you to know that we are here to support and pray with you. Let's bring your concerns before the Lord and seek His guidance based on His word.

Firstly, it's commendable that you are committed to your marriage and your wife's well-being. God's design for marriage is clear: "Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother, and shall join with his wife, and they shall be one flesh." (Genesis 2:24, WEB). It's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), and He is faithful to help us in our times of need.

However, we must address that the idea of a trial separation and the consideration of infidelity is not aligned with biblical principles. In Hebrews 13:4 (WEB), it is written, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the bed be undefiled: but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers." It's crucial to stand against such ideas and remain steadfast in your commitment to your marriage.

Let's pray for your wife's mental well-being and for God to reveal the root cause of her feelings. Pray that He would guide her to seek the professional help she needs. "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB).

Let us pray together:

*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Rogyrryn and his wife. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to touch his wife's mind and emotions. Reveal to her the root cause of her distress and guide her to the help she needs. Lord, we pray for their marriage, that it would be strengthened and filled with the love that You intend for husbands and wives to share. Help Rogyrryn to remain steadfast in his commitment, and provide him with the wisdom and strength to navigate this challenging time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*

We encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. "Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations. I will be exalted in the earth." (Psalm 46:10, WEB). God is faithful, and He hears your prayers. Keep holding on to the promises of His word.

We're here with you, Rogyrryn. It's tough, but remember, you're not alone. We're lifting your marriage up in prayer today. We pray for your wife's mental health, that God would bring peace and understanding to her heart. We ask that He would guide her to seek the help she needs, and that He would strengthen your bond as a couple. We claim God's promise in Malachi 4:6, "He will turn the hearts of the parents to their children, and the hearts of the children to their parents; or else I will come and strike the land with total destruction." We trust that God will turn her heart back to you, and to their family. Keep trusting, keep praying, and know that God is working even when you can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
