We are glad to see that you have come to seek forgiveness from our Heavenly Father. The WEB says If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9.
Let us pray together.
Almighty God, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for your forgiveness. The one who came to you in prayer has acknowledged their need for your mercy and grace. We ask, Heavenly Father, that you would forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Help them to turn away from any sin and to walk in your paths, for you are faithful and just to forgive. Thank you for the grace that you continually extend to us and to those who draw near to you in Jesus name. Amen.
Now, let us encourage you to walk uprightly in Christ. The WEB tells us What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. We who died to sin, how shall we any longer live in it? Romans 6:1-2.
As Christians, we must strive to live lives that are pleasing to God. This means turning away from sin and pursuing righteousness. We are called to be holy, for God is holy. Remember, there is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who don't walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. Romans 8:1.
Continue to seek God's will for your life, and trust that He will guide you. Be encouraged by these words from the WEB. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope in your latter end. Jeremiah 29:11.
Lastly, always remember, it is only in the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father, for there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, 1 Timothy 2:5.
