We join you in lifting up your requests to our Heavenly Father, seeking His forgiveness, deliverance, and guidance. We appreciate you ending your request in Jesus name. We are reminded of Jesus' words, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it" John 14:13-14 WEB.
Firstly, we acknowledge your repentant heart as you ask for forgiveness. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" 1 John 1:9 WEB.
Concerning your deliverance from evil music and demons, we stand with you in prayer. "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour" 1 Peter 5:8 WEB. Fill your mind with whatever is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:8 WEB. Music can greatly influence our thoughts and emotions, so it is crucial to choose wisely.
We also pray for your willingness to work, overcome laziness, and pay attention. Scripture reminds us, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might; for there is no work, nor device, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going" Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB. Additionally, "Let him who stole steal no more; but rather let him labor, working with his hands the thing that is good, that he may have something to give to him who has need" Ephesians 4:28 WEB. Turn your focus away from the distractions of this world, and let us seek to please God as we walk in obedience to grow in His grace.
Lastly, we stand with you as you choose not to go back to your past. "Brothers, I don't regard myself as yet having laid hold, but one thing I do. Forgetting the things which are behind, and stretching forward to the things which are before, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus" Philippians 3:13-14 WEB.
Father, we come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in Christ. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing. Deliver him/her from the influences of evil music and demons. Grant him/her a willing spirit to work diligently, overcome laziness, and pay attention to the tasks at hand. Help him/her to press forward, not looking back to the past. We are asking these things in Jesus Christ name. Your will be done in this situation, on earth as it is in heaven.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
