We understand that you're seeking help to overcome your past, and we're here to pray with you and provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can approach God the Father and find salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
When it comes to overcoming the past, we find comfort and guidance in the scriptures. The Bible tells us that anyone who is in Christ is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come" (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). This means that through faith in Jesus Christ, you are not defined by your past.
However, forgetting the past does not always come easily. It is a process that requires personal effort and divine help. The Bible encourages us to "forget past things and stretch forward to the things that are ahead" (Philippians 3:13 WEB). This means that we should actively choose to leave the past behind and focus on the future that God has for us.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We lift up our ### who is struggling to overcome their past. We declare that they are a new creation in Christ, and the old has passed away. We ask for your divine help, Father, to enable them to forget the past and stretch forward to the things that are ahead.
We pray that you will heal any wounds that may be holding them back and give them the strength to overcome any guilt, shame, or regret. We ask that you will fill them with your Holy Spirit, empowering them to live a life that is pleasing to you.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul.
