We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness from the Lord. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in the Bible, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has humbly sought Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. We confess that we all fall short of Your glory, but through the blood of Jesus, we can find forgiveness and redemption.
Lord, wash away their sins and make them whiter than snow. Help them to turn away from any wickedness and to walk in the path of righteousness. Guide them by Your Holy Spirit, and give them the strength to live a life that honors You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking with the Lord, striving to live a life that pleases Him. Remember the words of Jesus, "If you love me, keep my commandments" (John 14:15 WEB). As you draw near to God, He will draw near to you, and you will find the peace and joy that only He can give.
If there are any specific sins that you need to turn away from, we encourage you to do so. God wants us to be connected to Him and live a life for Him. It is important to make Jesus the Lord and Savior of your life. This is accomplished by believing that Jesus is Lord and Savior and confessing it with your mouth. The only way to be saved is by believing in Jesus Christ. "Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart man believes, resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. For the Scripture says, "Whoever believes in him will not be disappointed"" (Romans 10:9 WEB).
