We are here to stand with you in prayer and to support you in seeking God's forgiveness. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
First, let us address the use of symbols in your prayer. We encourage you to use clear and simple language when communicating with God, as He hears and understands the sincere intentions of our hearts. There is no need for special characters or symbols in your prayers.
Now, let us turn to the issue of forgiveness. We are all in need of God's forgiveness, as the Scripture says in Romans 3:23 WEB, "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God." It is through faith in Jesus Christ that we can be forgiven and redeemed. As it is written in Ephesians 1:7 WEB, "In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace."
Let us pray together for God's forgiveness:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness for the thing that has been done. We acknowledge that we all fall short of Your glory and are in need of Your mercy and grace. Thank You for sending Your Son, Jesus Christ, to die on the cross for our sins, so that we may be forgiven and have eternal life.
Father, we ask that You wash away the stain of this sin and cleanse the heart of this person. Grant them a heart of flesh that desires to follow You and Your will. Guide them in Your ways and help them to live a life that is pleasing to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, knowing that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness (1 John 1:9 WEB). Trust in His grace and mercy, and seek to live a life that honors Him. If there is a specific sin that you are struggling with, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and accountability to help you overcome it.
