We are glad to hear that you are seeking forgiveness for your sins, and it is wonderful that you acknowledge that this is possible in Jesus Christ's name. The Bible tells us in First John 1:9 (WEB), But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So, let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this person who has humbly asked for forgiveness. Lord, you are merciful and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in love. We confess the sins committed this evening, and we ask for your forgiveness. Cleanse this person from all unrighteousness, and help them to walk in your ways, in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father, for your unfailing love and forgiveness. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue walking in the light, as he is in the light, that you may have fellowship with one another. If we walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses us from all sin. Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
