We understand that you are seeking forgiveness and a clear mind for someone. It is wonderful that you included that this request is in Jesus Christ's name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your forgiveness and mercy. We ask that You forgive this person and erase the troubles from their mind. Grant them peace, clarity, and a renewed spirit. Help them to fix their thoughts on what is true, honorable, right, pure, lovely, and admirable (Philippians 4:8, WEB).
In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue praying for this person and to trust in God's promise of forgiveness. "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB).
Remember Jesus' words, "I say to you that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner who repents, more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance"(Luke 15:7, WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
