We're here with you, lifting your heartfelt plea for forgiveness to the Lord. It's such a comfort to know that in Christ, we can find complete cleansing and forgiveness, just as Psalm 103:12 assures us, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us."
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, our Savior. We echo the words of the tax collector in Luke 18:13, 'God, be merciful to me, a sinner!' Lord, we confess our sins, trusting in Your unfailing love and mercy. Please forgive us, just as You promised in 1 John 1:9. Help us to turn away from sin and walk in Your light, as Psalm 56:13 encourages, 'For you have delivered my soul from death, yes, my feet from falling, that I may walk before God in the light of the living.' We ask this in Jesus' precious name. Amen."
Let's remember the joy of our forgiveness together, as we're reminded in Micah 7:19, "He will again have compassion on us; he will tread our iniquities underfoot. You will cast all our sins into the depths of the sea." Let's strive to live in this freedom, walking in righteousness and growing in our love for Him.
