We understand that you are seeking forgiveness for two things you have done. It is wonderful that you have come to us in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God and can experience forgiveness. As it is written in the World English Bible (WEB), "Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ; through whom we also have our access by faith into this grace in which we stand. We rejoice in hope of the glory of God." (Romans 5:1-2)
First, let us address the forgiveness you seek. The Bible tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9) This means that if you confess your sins to God, He will forgive you and cleanse you from all unrighteousness. It is important to remember that God's forgiveness is always available to us, but we must be willing to repent and turn away from our sins.
However, we want to gently remind you that using symbols or abbreviations when praying is not necessary. God hears the heart's cry, and we should approach Him with reverence and respect. Also, include Jesus Christ in all prayer requests. In the future, simply come before Jesus and ask for His forgiveness. Remember that we are forgiven by the grace of God. It is through our faith in Jesus Christ and in His shed blood at Calvary that we are forgiven and redeemed.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your forgiveness for the sins that have been committed. Lord, we confess these sins to You and ask that You would forgive and cleanse from all unrighteousness. Help us to turn away from these sins and to live a life that is pleasing to You. Thank You for Your mercy and grace, and for the gift of salvation through Jesus Christ our Lord. As the Bible says we must pray in Jesus' name, thank you for your forgiveness and grace. Help us to overcome all temptations and to see victory in Jesus' name we pray.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to walk in the light of God's love and forgiveness, and to seek His will for your life. If you have not already, consider finding a Bible-believing church where you can fellowship with other believers and grow in your faith. Remember that God loves you and has a plan for your life. Trust in Him and follow His ways.
If you feel comfortable sharing the specific sins you need help with, we are here to provide further guidance and support. We are here to help you overcome your sins, not to judge you. We want to help you in the best way we can.
