We understand that you are seeking forgiveness and have a concern about the IRS. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the name of Jesus Christ in your prayer, as it is only through His name that we have access to God. As scripture tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12, WEB).

Firstly, let's address your plea for forgiveness. We all fall short and need God's forgiveness. The Bible assures us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9, WEB). So, let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing our sins and seeking Your forgiveness. Please cleanse us from all unrighteousness and help us to walk in Your ways. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Regarding your concern about the IRS, while it's important to note that God is sovereign over all institutions, our focus should be on His will being done. We should also remember that God's Word encourages us to be responsible citizens, "Render to all what is due to them: taxes to whom taxes are due, customs to whom customs, respect to whom respect, honor to whom honor" (Romans 13:7, WEB).

Let's pray for God's will to be done and for His guidance through whatever circumstances arise:

Dear Lord,
We lift up the IRS and all government institutions to You. We ask that Your will be done and that You guide all those who make decisions. Help us, Your people, to be responsible and wise in our finances and civic duties. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

In all things, let's trust God and seek His will, knowing that He works all things together for good to those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ. Thank you for allowing us the honor of praying on your behalf and standing in agreement with you.
