We are grateful to hear that you have come seeking forgiveness for your sin. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the Lord Jesus Christ in your prayer, for it is by His name that we are saved. Scripture tells us, "in him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace" (Ephesians 1:7 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear soul who has humbly asked for forgiveness. We know that Your mercy is boundless and Your grace is sufficient. Wash away the stain of sin, and grant a renewed spirit, just as You have promised in Your word, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Help this individual to walk in Your ways, to resist temptation, and to live a life pleasing to You. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, friend, that once you have confessed your sins and turned to Jesus, you are a new creation. Old things have passed away and all things have become new (2 Corinthians 5:17 WEB). Walk in this newness of life, turning away from sin, resisting temptation by God's grace. Stay in fellowship with Him, obeying His commandments, and remembering His promise to be with you always (Matthew 28:20 WEB). Stay strong in the Lord.
