We are glad that you have come to God in repentance, seeking forgiveness. It is wonderful that you acknowledged the lordship of Jesus Christ and ended with "in Jesus Christ name. Amen." This is the proper way to pray as even Jesus taught, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB) and "If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." (John 14:14 WEB).

Let us pray together for you:

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank you for your unfailing love and mercy. We come before you to lift up ###, who has humbly sought your forgiveness. We ask, in Jesus Christ's name, that you forgive their sins and cleanse them from all unrighteousness.

"If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)

Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
